Any Advice on building my first pc? Anything I have done wrong?Did I leave something out? Lastly I'm planning it to be used for gaming would it run nowaday games like Rift swtor gw2 etc and what settings? Thank you
your build is crap and you are doing it all wrong. harddrive is an overpriced low performance piece of crap, CPU is an extremely ancient piece of bullcrap, RAM of obsolete crap brand overpriced crap, sound card isn't needed so you are wasting money on that, you have no motherboard so the PC isn't gonna work, case is utter crap and too small for the video card to fit……. just crap.
go to tomshardware forum and ask for a good build, I'm too lazy to build you one.
Ya, you left a few things out like the motherboard… lol
The RAM you chose is DRR2, that's slightly outdated so choose DDR3 instead and 4GB isn't enough, plan on using 8GB, not to mention the RAM you chose is crap.
there are a few things we don't care about or matter such as the sound card, link cable, keyboard, mouse, case and hard drive.
The only components that really matter in a gaming machine is the motherboard, processor, graphics card and RAM.. Everything else is generic but quality should never be compromised in any of the components as the chain is only as strong as the weakest link.
